Introducing the new ACPA Seminar Series, a monthly webinar series including various topics of interest related to advancing the Chemical Profession in Alberta. For the sixth seminar in this series, we are happy to introduce Michel Alsayegh, President of the Ordre des Chimistes du Québec (OCQ) to speak on 'Professional Chemists Need to Find Their Voice' on January 18, 2022. Each seminar will be eligible for 1 PDC credit.
Professional Chemists Need to Find Their Voice
Chemists need to speak up. We need to speak for the public on issues related to chemistry and make sure that we appear more often in written and verbal media. The OCQ was involved in several high-profile examples in 2021 where the public was at risk in chemically related issues concerning public health.
