Course Information

This new virtual Ethics course will retain much of the material and the interactive elements that our members valued in the previous one day course. The course will provide an introduction to the ethical framework that guides professional chemists in the conduct of their duties. The course still focuses on solving practical issues that arise in professional practice.


The new course consists of 7 modules:

Candidates that pass the exam will receive an Ethics certificate. 


Requirements

  • Registration in the course with your professional chemist’s association
  • Access to a computer with a video camera, audio headset, and reliable and fast internet
  • Access to a Canvas and a Zoom account (both free with course registration)
  • A valid email address

To allow maximum discussion and understanding of ethical management, attendance is strictly limited to 20 registrants. It is offered at a cost of $250 (including GST) and includes an exam and certificate. 


Completion of the course is an asset to enhance your professional credentials, for those considering management activities in the workplace, and for your firm to have someone holding the certification.
