Workshop for Preparing a Profession Development Audit: Files from the workshop

The purpose of the workshop is to provide information on preparing a Professional Development Declaration for the PDC audit. Because the ACPA is a professional association regulated by the Alberta Government, the audit of members' professional development declarations is mandatory. The ACPA is required by law to undertake an annual audit of randomly selected members.

A concise and complete audit submission makes the process easier and expedient for everyone. We realize that the audit is an added effort, so in order to simplify the process we are hosting this workshop. The audit is not something that a member does regularly and therefore may seem daunting. - No worries.

The objective of the workshop is to provide guidance needed to complete the audit and to answer questions about the information and details members are expected to submit for the audit and to document professional development activities in general. If you have any problems we will assist to find solutions.

The workshop is an opportunity for the Practice Review Committee to obtain feedback from the members. We welcome and appreciate the opinions and comments of the members.

We look forward to your joining us.
