Purpose

The Technical & Professional Development Seminar Committee develops and organizes ACPA-sponsored educational opportunities for technically oriented personnel in the chemical industry. The members of this committee are drawn from a number of companies, bring unique talents, and work together for excellence.

Scope

The scope of the Technical Seminar Committee includes the following:

  • Identifying topics for one-time educational opportunities or for continuous education
  • Recruiting speakers and instructors
  • Assisting with the implementation of programs
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs
  • Providing detailed outlines for the content of each opportunity (as appropriate)
