ACPA's
Legislative Committee focuses on policy and regulatory issues. This requires a
broad-based view of local, provincial and federal policies as we work together
with members of each government level when required.
Members of
ACPA's Legislative Committee meet separately, and update the ACPA Board of
Directors monthly. The Associations policies and objectives are reviewed at
these meetings, as well, future legislation involving ACPA is considered for
development. When more intense legislative activity is required, regular
conference calls are held so that ACPA staff and members can share information
on a timely basis.
