Discipline committee members hear and determine matters related to alleged
professional misconduct or incompetence. The parties to a hearing are the ACPA
and the member who is the subject of the complaint.
It is the responsibility of the Discipline Committee to determine if the member
is guilty of professional misconduct or incompetence and, if so, to determine
and impose a penalty. These may include but are not limited to:

revoking a member's certificate

Suspending a member for a given period of time

imposing specific terms, limitations or conditions upon a members license to
practice

reprimanding, admonishing or counseling the member

fining the member
-
publishing the findings in a manner considered appropriate
-
fixing costs to be paid by the member
-
requiring the successful completion of a course of study and/or
-
fixing a period during which the member is ineligible for reinstatement or
variation of the committee's order.
